Tim and Tamara Marshick

Pastor Tim Marshick

Tim is currently the Associate Pastor of Families and Outreach at The Palms Church.  He recruits, trains and releases leaders and team members into these areas as well as raising up new leaders. He assist our Pastor with everything including events, youth, and teaching. Tim lifts the atmosphere of our church to a whole new level.  He has been our friend for many years and once you spend one minute with him you will see why he is so valuable to our staff and our church family!

 

In 2016, he served as Executive Director of Somebody Cares Tampa Bay, oversaw all office staff, worked with the President, Board of Directors and Director of Administration to fulfill objectives of ministry.  He worked with outside organizations, coordinated volunteers, organized and executed big events such as Back to School, Carefest, Food Distributions and Pastor’s meetings.

 

In 2014-2015, Tim served as the Crusade Director in Chicago, Illinois for Christ for All Nations and Reinhard Bonnke Ministries.  He assembled 460 churches together for this outreach that was instrumental in leading thousands to Christ.  He developed relationships with regional leaders, local pastors, businesses and churches, spoke in large churches and venues and led training sessions in preparation for this large crusade.

 

Tim has experience as a Children’s pastor, Youth pastor, Outreach pastor and Executive Pastor and has created and established many programs to further individuals in their spiritual walk. 

 

As somebody that God has supernaturally delivered from a 17 year addiction to drugs and alcohol, Tim has a heart for the lost and broken.  He is a native to St. Petersburg, Florida, and is in the process of fulfilling the desire that God has placed on him to plant the House of Hope Church in this city. 

 

His wife, Tamara, is a gifted and anionted worship leader who shares in this desire to bring hope to the hurting.  She is a health coach that has a strong passion to see people get healthy in every area of their lives, spiritually, emotionally, physically, and financially.   They have a teenage son, Austin, who is an incredible leader and role model among the youth.   He attends St. Petersburg High School in the IB Program, is an amazing soccer player and has many gifts and talents that God has gifted to him.  This family loves God, loves people and they are dedicated to reaching people for God’s Kingdom.
